Why Anxiety Causes Diarrhea and How to Handle It:
Diarrhea Anxiety Symptoms:
1) You feel like vomiting after eating certain foods or drinks.
For example, if you eat too much spicy food, then your stomach may become upset due to the acidity of the food. If you are not used to having a strong stomach acidity, it will make you vomit.
2) You feel sick when taking medicines which contain laxatives such as enemas.
When you take these drugs, your body produces less digestive enzymes. This means that your digestion becomes slow and weak.
Your intestines do not produce enough mucus to protect them from harmful bacteria and viruses. These bacteria and viruses can enter into your blood stream causing an infection.
3) You have diarrhea for more than three days without any other symptoms.
Some people experience diarrhea for longer periods of time but they don’t get sick. However, if you suffer from diarrhea for more than 3 days without any other symptoms, then you need to see a doctor immediately.
The diarrhea may be caused by a more severe medical condition that has to be treated by a physician.
4) You develop severe stomach pain along with a lot of mucus coming out from your rectum.
This may be due to the fact that you have hemorrhoids. If you develop an inflammation around your hemorrhoids, then you may experience a lot of pain and bleeding.
The best way to treat this condition is to use home-remedies. You can get rid of the bleeding by using some natural remedies such as using garlic suppositories.
5) You have experienced diarrhea for more than seven days.
If you still experience diarrhea after 7 days, then see a physician right away. There might be a more serious medical condition causing your diarrhea.
6) You have severe diarrhea along with high fever, rash and severe pain in your stomach area.
