Anxiety is a common problem among humans. There are many reasons why one may suffer from it. Some of them include:

What are the effects of anxiety?

Sometimes anxiety can be a good thing, meaning it helps us in emergencies or save lives. But most of the time it is very hard to live with anxiety because it leads to panic attacks, nausea, palpitations, chest pain, difficulty breathing, sweating, and other various symptoms. It can cause several complications and make life pretty miserable.

It is normal to experience some level of anxiety. Many people suffer from this in one form or another. People who suffer from anxiety can experience several physical reactions. These include a faster heart beat, sweating, nausea, trembling, shortness of breath, and headaches. These reactions can interfere with one’s ability to work or even do daily routines.

Anxiety is generally caused by stress and the type of work you do. Many people experience it after traumatic events such as natural disasters, deaths of loved ones, or violence.

Anxiety can have both short term and long term effects on your life. It can make you miss out on opportunities in life that you would have otherwise enjoyed. It can also lead to other mental illnesses if left untreated. If you think you are suffering from anxiety, seek medical help as soon as possible.

What Are The Types of Anxiety?

Anxiety is a term that is used to describe several types of mental conditions. The most common types are generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, phobias, and obsessive compulsive disorder. Other types of anxiety disorders include separation anxiety, trauma- or stressor- related anxiety, and substance-induced anxiety.

Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), is a condition in which a person suffers from constant and excessive worry that is not focused on anything specific.
