The Causes of an Uneven Rib Cage:
There are several causes which could cause your ribs to appear unevenly placed. These include:
1) Weak bones (osteoporosis) – If you have osteoporosis, it means that your bone density is not keeping up with the rest of your body’s.
Your bones will eventually become weaker and less strong. Osteoporosis affects men and women equally.
A person who does not exercise regularly or exercises too little may develop osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is caused by a number of factors such as genetics, stress, and other health issues. It is possible to prevent osteoporosis if you take care of your body properly. You can do so by eating healthy foods and getting enough physical activity.
2) Fatty Liver Disease – Another reason why your ribs might look crooked is because of fatty liver disease.
Fatty liver disease occurs when there is excess fat in the body. When this happens, it makes it difficult for the kidneys to filter out toxins from the blood.
Eventually, these toxins build up inside your organs and they start doing damage to them. The liver will become swollen and its cells will die. If you catch the disease early, it is possible to treat it before it causes serious damage. One of the first signs that you may have fatty liver disease is when you start to feel nauseous and vomit in the morning. You may also have unexplained itching and yellowing of your skin.
3) Lack of Proper Breathing – Many people do not realize this but deep breathing can actually help prevent rib dents.
It is very important to take in enough oxygen if you want your body to be able to support proper organ function. When you breathe, the lungs expand and contract to allow air to enter and leave your body.
If you hold your breath or do not take in enough air, there will not be enough oxygen going to your internal organs. This can cause serious damage over time. It can also cause ribs to start ducking inwards, causing them to look warped or uneven.
4) Hernia – A hernia occurs when there is a health problem in one of your organs.
The most common type of hernia is an inguinal hernia. In this case, there is a weakness in the abdominal wall that allows the internal inguinal ring to push through it.
This can cause an injury in the area around the genitals or the lower part of the stomach. If you have an inguinal hernia, it is possible for part of the small intestine or even a section of the large intestine to come through the inguinal ring. It is normal to have this ring, but only in very small children. If a child has an inguinal hernia, it means that they have undeveloped testicles or that they are premature. Inguinal hernias are common among newborns and infants but they can occur in adults as well. The pain of an inguinal hernia can be quite serious. It can be worsened by activities that put pressure on this part of the body such as running or heavy lifting.
The above reasons are just some of the most common ones. If your ribs are starting to look uneven, you will want to see a doctor right away in order to get treatment.

This Story is Haunting and True, A Nightmare Coming True for Me.
Your Nightmare too?
It might just be…
I have finally decided to share with the world what has been going on in my life, I have kept quiet for years on end but now I feel the need to speak out and let people know they are not alone in this fight against the unknown.
I am M. Oliver Devaux, I live in a small town called Swinford in the UK.
I am a 32 year old male who works as a freelance journalist. I currently living alone in a house I bought after my divorce from my ex-wife three years ago. I have had my own strange experiences over the years that I would love to tell you about.
I have always had an interest in the paranormal ever since I was a child, when I used to watch movies such as ‘The Exorcist’, ‘Amityville Horror’ and many other movies based on true stories. I remember watching one particular movie when I was about 8 years old called ‘Haunting at The Institute’.
This movie stuck with me more than any of the other movies I had seen before.
The movie was about a man who was studying to become a doctor, he and his wife moved into a house that was next to a former mental institute. He starts to become obsessed with the old hospital and starts to dig up the backyard of the house looking for evidence of past patients that may have been buried there.
One night he hears screams outside, he runs outside and finds a patient from the hospital sitting on his porch. This man is covered in blood, his clothes are torn and looks like he is half insane.
He lets the man into his house and calls the police, however before the police arrive the mans wife returns home with their 2 children. After arriving she disappears upstairs for a few minutes and when she returns she looks very ill.
The man finds out that his wife has gone upstairs to change the youngest child and when she returned she had a strange look on her face and seemed to have aged years. This was because the old mental institution had risen from the dead and had taken her over completely.
The movie ends with the man being taken over by the house and having his mind trapped inside with all the other patients that are still trapped inside.
This movie scared me a lot when I was younger, I used to have nightmares about it. The idea that an inanimate object such as a house could become alive and trap your mind inside it just seemed so far-fetched yet so terrifying that I couldn’t help but think about it a lot of the time.
I started to become obsessed with haunted houses, I would read anything about them that I could get my hands on. I started to research mental institutions and their patients online, I even looked up records of former patients at the madhouse in Swinford.
One woman called Isabella Martin stood out to me in particular as she had died there and was supposedly one of the best singers of her time. I found an old recording of her singing on the internet and was amazed by the quality of her voice.
That Saturday night I had gone to bed as usual, I left my window open as it was a hot night and I had it stuck in my head that if I went to sleep with the window closed Isabella would come and get me. This seemed very silly to me but I was still scared to close it so I just left it open.
After a few hours I woke up finding it very difficult to breathe, there was no wind that night so I couldn’t understand why my curtains were being blow open and closed very fast almost as if they were breathing in and out. This was very strange, I decided to sit up and as I did this the curtains blew open revealing my window.
The moon was full that night and shining directly on my window, making the light in my room almost as bright as day. I could see clearly that there was nothing out of the ordinary in my room and there was no noise at all.
I started to get very confused as nothing had woken me up but I decided to head to the toilet to try and shake off my confusion.
As I walked past my window, it suddenly slammed shut very quickly, I jumped about a foot in the air and turned around immediately. I started to feel very strange, as if I was losing control of my own thoughts.
I tried to concentrate on simple things like the moon or the carpet but it was no good, my mind just kept wandering off into random thoughts that made no sense.
I don’t know how long I spent just standing there thinking without thinking before I noticed the light in the corner of my eyes. At first it was just a dull glow coming from the crack under my door but it started to get brighter and brighter and I felt drawn to it.
It was almost as if someone was calling out to me, something was trying to take me away and I didn’t want to resist.
As I got closer to the door the light seemed to engulf me, I could no longer see anything else other than this bright white light. I started to hear a woman’s voice, it sounded old and raspy but also full of joy and happiness.
“Jennifer, Jennifer, come to Mother.”
I felt myself being yanked from my body as I spiralled towards the light. I didn’t feel scared however as I knew that this was Mother who had come to get me at last.
The last thing I saw before my mind was engulfed by the light was a monstrous face screaming in anger about being disturbed.
I was fourteen years old when I became Mother’s newest addition.
I was her fourteenth vessel and she had been calling to me for some time.
I remember waking up in the middle of the room surrounded by my brothers and sisters, we were all naked and chained up to the wall. Mother stood over me smiling that monstrous smile, I felt sick just looking at her.
“Ah, fresh meat!” She growled as she cut my throat and I started to choke on my own blood.
Hours later she cut me again as my body shut down and I slipped away into blissful darkness.
I was Mother’s vessel for eight years, during that time I lost all track of space and time. It felt like mere minutes before she cut me again and I woke up surrounded by my brothers and sisters.
Mother cut us at random times as she told us it helped keep the blood fresh.
We were her play things to do with as she wished, whatever she did to us we would forget the pain once we became her vessels again.
The years I spent with Mother are all just a blur now, whenever I think back it feels like I’m trying to remember a movie I saw once when I was very young but can’t quite call back all of the details.
One memory that stands out above all others took place during my second year with Mother. One of my sisters had become her vessel and been with child for two years, when the baby was born it resembled a human for only a few minutes before it started morphing into one of Mother’s creatures.
We watched in horror as the nurses cleaned up the newborn, cutting off limbs and stitching its mouth shut before placing it on a table in the corner of the room. Mother had another of her creatures permanently locked in a baby’s body, she said she was going to use it to get closer to her goal.
Some of my siblings started to realise that Mother wasn’t going to release us and they became increasingly agitated. There weren’t many rebellions as Mother made sure that anyone acting out was quickly killed off, but some still tried.
I was trying to stay as calm as I could, telling my other siblings that Mother would eventually release us but deep down I knew I had given up on that hope a long time ago.
One night as Mother cut me again I slipped into unconsciousness and fell into a dream.
I saw myself laying on the floor of my cell, only this time I wasn’t alone. I was with my true love, embracing each other as the pain took over and our body’s morphed into Mother’s creatures.
I remember that it felt like warm water was pouring over my body as I became something new.
I opened my eyes in the real world to see one of my sisters desperately calling out my name.
“Wake up Jacob! Please wake up!” she cried through tears.
It seemed that I had only been unconscious for a few minutes but Mother’s creatures were converging on my cell. I watched as my other siblings fought back with their chains, beating the creatures as they tried to force their way inside but there were too many.
I looked over at my sister who was desperately trying to wake me up.
I asked as she helped me up off the floor.
“It’s an attack, come on!” she shouted as she helped me up.
We ran over to the other side of the room, avoiding the fighting and watched as Mother’s creatures forced there way into the cells containing my other siblings. They didn’t stand a chance, the creatures were simply to strong and began tearing them apart.
I watched as one of my brothers had his arm torn off before one of the creatures stomped on his head, ending his life. I saw one of my other brothers desperately try to hide from the creatures, making sopping noises as his cries for help where ignored by the attackers.
I turned away as one of the creatures plunged its spawn filled belly into his face. My sister wrapped her arms around me as we both watched our remaining siblings die horrible deaths.
“Its okay, it will be over soon.” I heard Mother say through the intercom.
One of my remaining siblings had found a chainsaw and was cutting through one of the creatures when he was suddenly pulled under the mass of limbs and bodies. I saw him cut a huge hole in the creature before being dragged down, never to be seen again.
The room filled with the sounds of our screams as we witnessed our siblings getting torn apart. I saw one of my other sisters hugging each other and humming a tune our mother use to sing to us.
I felt anger well up inside of me.
“You could help them!” I shouted as I ran over to my sister, beating my fists against the wall in anger.
“I did, now please stop fighting or they’ll hear us.” she replied in a whisper.
As if mocking her, one of the creatures suddenly turned its heads in our direction and let out a screech. Raising its clawed hand, it began running towards our cell.
My sister cowered in the corner as I readied myself for battle.
As it arrived it raised its arm into the air, bringing it down and tearing through the wall and hitting me.
I felt my flesh tear open as my bones broke, blood starting to run down my body as I collapsed on the ground.
A few moments later and it was done. My siblings were dead and it wasn’t long before they arrived for me.
I screamed as the creatures tore through the wall, claws scraping against the concrete as they pulled themselves through.
Their wet, squishy bodies rolled around on the floor as they ran towards me, jumping onto my body and ravaging me. I cried out in pain as I felt their teeth rip into my flesh and their claws tear at my chest.
I tried to fight back but it was all I could do to not be killed instantly. I kicked a creature away from myself before being dragged under a mass of wet, slimy bodies.
They bit at my body, chewing through my flesh as they tore me apart. I could feel myself losing more and more blood as the inevitable happened.
My vision went dark and the pain stopped.
I closed my eyes and accepted my fate as Mother’s meal.
