The first thing you can do is count your calories. This is the most time consuming method, but can also be the most effective since you’ll know for sure that you’re sticking to the diet.

The easiest method is to just follow the diet for a week. Eat only the foods that are allowed and avoid the ones that aren’t. If you’re hungry, eat as much as you want of the allowed foods. Once the week is over, weigh yourself to see if you’ve lost any weight.

If you have then great! If not then you might need to go on a more strict diet or try a different plan.

You can also mix and match different diets. For example, you can count calories one week, eat whatever you want for the next week but be more strict with your diet the week after that. There are lots of different plans out there so you can try a few until you find one that works best for you.

Always remember that the most important thing is not to diet, but to learn healthy eating habits that you can follow for life. It’s much easier to eat right when you’re dieting than when you’re not so if you can learn good habits now then maintaining your weight in the future will be much easier as well
