What is Pork Red Meat?
Pork red meat is the muscle tissue inside the belly of a pig. It contains all the fat and connective tissues which make up the body of a pig. There are two types of pork red meat: boneless (or skinless) and bone-in (boned). Boneless pork means that it does not contain any bones, while bone-in means that there are bones in it.
Red Meat vs White Meat
There are many different kinds of meat. Some meats have no fat, some have fat, some do not need salt and pepper, etc.
The difference between red meat and white meat is that red meat contains blood vessels called capillaries, whereas white meat does not. Blood vessels are vital for nutrition. If they were removed from a piece of red meat, then it would lose its taste and texture.
