The only real truth about the potato diet is that it can help you lose weight . The reason why it works is because it is a low-calorie diet (or at least supposed to be). If you eat fewer calories than you burn, you’re going to lose weight. In fact, eating just potatoes alone won’t cut it.

The only reason why the potato diet works is because potatoes are so filling. If you want to try the potato diet for weight loss, it’s best that you follow it exactly. Don’t make substitutions for different foods or else it won’t work as well. It’s also important to remember that you’re not supposed to eat until you’re full while on this diet. You only need to eat until you’re no longer hungry. Otherwise, you could end up gaining weight.The biggest advantage of the potato diet is that it’s very cheap . All you really need to make it work are potatoes, lots of them. Even if you have to buy them at a grocery store, they’re still relatively cheap. You could probably stock up on enough potatoes to last you through the entire week for just a few dollars and some change. You don’t have to rely on expensive diet supplements either because the potato itself contains all the nutrients that you need. Granted, you’re probably not going to get all of the recommended amount of vitamins and minerals that your body needs, but if you really want to lose weight fast then this is certainly an option for you. It’s also easy to make the Potato Diet work with your schedule because you can eat potatoes at any time of the day. You don’t need to worry about when you can and can’t eat them. You can bring a couple of them with you when you’re out and about as well.
The main disadvantage of the potato diet is that it doesn’t provide all of the nutrients that your body needs . Even if you eat a whole bunch of potatoes day in and day out, you will still be lacking in certain vitamins and minerals.
