Pimple on your hand is a common condition where there are small red or pink bumps on the skin. They may appear anywhere from one to several inches deep and they may be raised, flat, or sunken into the skin. They are usually located near the wrist, but they can occur elsewhere on the body as well.
The bumps may cause pain when touched and may even itch. Sometimes these bumps do not hurt at all, but other times they are so painful that the person will have difficulty moving their fingers or arms. These bumps can develop over time without any apparent reason. There is no cure for pimple on your hand. Treatment involves avoiding touching them and applying creams, ointments, or salves to reduce the discomfort caused by them.
What causes pimple on your hand?
There are many possible reasons why someone might get pimple on their hand. Some of the most common include:
Dyshidrosis – A medical term used to describe a lack of sweat glands in the armpits, groin, or underarms. If there are no sweating glands present in these areas, then there is less moisture available for the skin to dry out and become irritated. This means that individuals with this condition are less prone to getting pimples on their hands.
Allergies – A lot of people develop allergic reactions to certain things. Most common allergenic substances that can cause pimples on your hand are nickel, latex, and fragrance. If you notice a bump forming after coming in contact with something, then you should visit a dermatologist to see if you are allergic to it.
Lack of sleep – A lot of people do not get enough sleep. Getting between six and eight hours or more is necessary for the body to function properly. When a person does not get enough sleep, they are more likely to become sick. This is because the immune system is weak.
Hormonal changes – Pimples on your hand can also be caused by hormonal changes that occur during pregnancy, puberty, and adolescence. If someone is nearing any of these stages in their life, then they should keep an eye on the skin and see a doctor if they notice anything different.
