Lipozene Review: Does It Work and Is It Safe

The Facts About Lipozene:

Lipozene is a natural plant extract which contains two compounds called arbutin and butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT). These chemicals are both fat soluble, so they easily pass through the skin barrier. They have been used in cosmetics since ancient times.

In the 1950s, scientists discovered that these chemicals could help prevent wrinkles and age spots by blocking free radicals which cause aging. Butylated hydroxytoluene is a known carcinogen. Arbutin, on the other hand, has been shown to reduce inflammation and fight cancer.

Arbutin is found naturally in many foods such as spinach, broccoli, carrots and red wine. BHT comes from vegetable oils like soybean oil or corn oil. Both of these substances have been used in cosmetics for decades.

The problem with using them is that they’re not exactly safe for human consumption. There’s no evidence that they actually work, and there’s some concern over their potential side effects.

There are several studies showing that lipozene may help prevent wrinkles and even reverse signs of aging. However, it does come with its own set of risks, including liver damage, kidney failure and heart disease.

Some evidence even suggests that butylated hydroxytoluene may be linked to certain types of cancer.

With these things in mind, you need to decide whether or not the risks outweigh the possible benefits.

Does It Help You Lose Weight?

There have been several studies on lipozene and weight loss. While some studies show a very minor weight loss, there have been no long-term studies showing that it can aid in permanent weight loss.

There have also been many complaints about getting sick after taking lipozene, and even reports that it’s caused liver failure in some people.

Most of the weight you lose on lipozene is water weight, which will be gained back as soon as you start eating normal again. There have even been cases where people gained weight after taking this supplement for a period of time.

Does It Reduce Cholesterol?

Cholesterol reduction is one of the main reasons people are taking this supplement. There have been no long-term studies on whether or not it can actually lower cholesterol.

There are some studies that show it can help prevent arteriosclerosis in rats, but it isn’t known if the results would be the same in humans.

There have also been some reports of adverse reactions to lipozene, including diarrhea, nausea, and even vomiting.

Natural Or Synthetic?

Lipozene is made from natural ingredients, but it undergoes a synthetic process that doesn’t occur in nature to make it usable as a supplement. This process can – and has – changed the chemical composition of the substance, which makes it behave differently in the body.

The Arbutin in lipozene does occur naturally in certain foods like blueberries and certain plants. Blueberries are often recommended as a healthy food, but the amount of Arbutin in them doesn’t even come close to the amount in lipozene.

You might experience some short-term benefits from lipozene, but nothing that will have a lasting impact on your weight or health in the long run.

Instead of taking this supplement, focus on eating healthy and getting regular exercise. Most people find that they start losing weight without having to take any sort of supplement at all.
