CIALIS AND DRINKING ALCOHOL: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM?
The main difference between taking cialis and drinking alcohol is dosage. Taking too much of either drug could cause problems such as liver damage or death.
In general, it is best not to take more than 500 mg of cialis daily. The average dose for men is 100 mg; for women, 50 mg. For example, if you are taking 100mg of cialis daily, then you would need to drink no more than 2 drinks per day (one with each) to reach the maximum recommended dosage.
HOW MUCH DOES IT TAKE TO GET INTO THE “DRUNKEN” STAGE OF BEING?
It takes approximately two hours for the active ingredient in cialis to work its way into your body. This means that after you have taken one pill, you will feel a mild high and some mental alertness. You may experience feelings of euphoria and energy. After about four hours, you may start feeling tiredness and fatigue.
After taking a single cialis, you may be able to drink around 1.5 drinks before you feel the effects. After taking two cialis, you may be able to drink 2 or more drinks before you are feeling the alcohol in your system.
This means that it takes less alcohol to reach the “drunken” stage than it does without taking cialis. Again, it is important to stay hydrated while drinking alcohol.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ALCOHOL AND CIALIS IN TERMS OF BEING “HIGH”?
Not all alcohol is created equal! It is important to know whether you are taking beer, wine, or liquor when trying to make a calculation for your blood-alcohol levels.
In general, a “drink” can be equal to:
12 ounces of 5% alcohol beer, wine, or liquor
8 ounces of 10% alcohol beer, wine, or liquor
5 ounces of 12% alcohol beer, wine, or liquor
The higher the alcohol content in your drink, the stronger the effects will be on your body. For example, you may be able to drink 2 glasses of wine or 5 ounces of beer before you feel the effects. On the other hand, it would only take you 1 ounce of a 12% alcohol beverage before you start to feel the effects.
You may need to do a little more research on your own about how alcohol affects you personally, but there is no substitute for being responsible when drinking. In general, always have a friend nearby who is not drinking at all. Check on the person every so often to make sure they are still conscious and breathing properly.
Did you know that in some countries (including the United States), it is illegal to serve alcohol to someone who is already drunk?
If someone is already showing signs of being intoxicated (alcohol poisoning can be fatal depending on how much the person has drank), then it is illegal to give them more alcohol.
