Is It Bad to Eat Your Boogers

Is it bad to eat your boogers?

Yes, it’s bad! There are several reasons why eating your boogers may cause harm. You might have heard that eating them could make you lose weight or cure cancer. However, there are no scientific studies proving these claims. Eating your boogers may not necessarily cause any negative effects, but if they do happen then they will most likely be temporary ones. If you want to avoid getting sick from eating your boogers, then here are some tips:

1) Do Not Eat Them All At Once!

You should only eat one or two at a time. Eating too much of them at once may lead to stomach upset and vomiting. They contain a lot of fiber, which helps keep you full longer. Eating them all at once would result in overeating and making yourself sick.

2) Avoid Drinking Alcohol While You Are Eating Your Boogers!

Alcohol contains alcohol, which can irritate your stomach lining when consumed with food. Consuming alcohol while eating boogers can also lead to vomiting, because your stomach will be empty and you just might throw up your boogers.

3) Do Not Withhold These Important Nutrients

Eating boogers can cause a major nutrient deficiency. This may cause long-term health effects in your life.

4) Eating Boogers Could Be Bad For Your Teeth

You should avoid eating boogers for the sake of your teeth. If you eat a lot of boogers on a regular basis, then you could wear down your tooth enamel. This may also cause your teeth to decay and fall out more easily. You should brush your teeth regularly and visit the dentist every six months for a checkup.

5) Boogers May Be Covered In Germs And Bacteria

You should not eat boogers because they may be covered in harmful bacteria. Viruses and other harmful organisms could be living in your boogers and cause serious health conditions.

The U.S. government recommends that you wash your hands after touching anything that has come into contact with your nose. This helps prevent the spread of germs to other people and keeps you from getting sick yourself.

6) Boogers Are Covered In Filth

You should not eat boogers because they are covered in filth. Your nose is a place where dust, dirt and grime collect, so it should come as no surprise that boogers are covered in these things too.

7) Boogers May Be A Gateway Drug

If you eat boogers, then you may become interested in other oddities that go in your mouth. This may lead to a life of debauchery and substance abuse. You may find yourself doing drugs like crack or heroine in the future. Eating boogers is like taking the red pill.

You should not eat your boogers for a variety of reasons. Most importantly, they are not good for you. It is best to avoid eating your boogers as much as you can. If you must eat boogers, then make sure you do it in moderation.

Getting Ready For Kindergarten

Getting ready for kindergarten is easy. All you really have to do is get yourself there on time and not need any extra help from the teacher. There are still some things that you should know before you start kindergarten. These tips are a great way to get ready for this new adventure!

1) Always Bring A Snack

If you get hungry during the day, it can throw off your schedule, making you feel tired or hyper at the wrong times. If you bring a healthly snack such as a bag of apple slices or celery and peanut butter you will not be at the mercy of other children who may tease you for bringing “baby” snacks or the teacher who may not allow you to have a treat.

2) Ask Questions

If you are confused about something, ask your teacher. They are there to help you learn and if you do not understand something, you will not be successful. Also, do not be afraid to ask for help if you do not understand an assignment. Your parents will also be glad to help you when you get home.

3) Do Your Best

Kindergarten is all about learning basic things such as letters, numbers, and shapes. You will also learn about different cultures, stories, and life skills. Do your best on all of your work and you will be successful!

4) Color Inside The Lines

It may not seem important but making sure you color inside the lines shows that you are able to follow simple instructions. This is a skill that you will need for pretty much every task you are given.

If you cannot follow simple instructions now, what will happen later when there are more tasks that require following instructions?

Getting Ready For Sports

Whether you are getting ready for soccer, basketball, baseball, or softball, there are some things you can do to get a leg up on the competition. All you have to do is follow these tips and you will be able to succeed!

1) Practice, Practice, Practice

Do you think all the major league baseball players just got there by chance?

No! They worked at it everyday after school and on weekends. If you want to be good at something, you have to practice. Try to find a sport your family or friends like so that you have people to practice with. If not, get a hoop and basketball and shoot some hoops by yourself. The point is, you need to practice so that you will be ready for the real competition.

2) Watch Professionals

If there are any professionals in the sport you are interested in, watch them. Find videos of them online or on TV and try to mimic everything they do while trying to keep up with what they are doing. If you have the attention span of a goldfish, you might want to try listening to an audio book about them instead.

3) Have A Goal

Do you want to be the best center in the NBA one day? Do you want to own your favorite team?

Maybe you just want to have fun. No matter what your goal is, having one will keep you focused and motivated. If you are having trouble picking one, why not pick two; then break each of them up into mini-goals and work on them separately.

Getting Ready For College

If you are thinking about going to college, then you need to start saving money because it isn’t cheap. Also, there are some things you should consider before even picking a major.

1) Location, Location, Location

Where you go to college will have a big effect on what you learn while you are there as well as how much it will cost to live while you are there. For example, if you want to be a history major and you pick a college in New York City, you will have access to many historical sites but it will cost a fortune to live there. On the other hand, if you want to be an electrical engineer and you pick a college in rural Alabama, there won’t be many opportunities to apply what you learn but the cost of living will be much lower.
