How to Remove Split Ends Naturally?
The best way to get rid of split ends naturally is to wash your hair with coconut oil shampoo every day. You can use any other shampoo but not coconut oil shampoo because it contains high levels of lard which will make your hair fall out if used regularly. Coconut oil is a natural moisturizer so you don’t need to worry about getting dry scalp anymore. If you have curly hair then you may want to try using a conditioner instead of shampooing your hair with coconut oil. You can also add some essential oils such as lavender, rosemary, etc. to your coconut oil shampoo and rub them into your hair before showering.
You can also apply coconut oil directly onto the scalp after washing it thoroughly with water. Then massage it into the scalp until you feel no more itchiness. If you are still having problems with itching then try applying coconut oil directly onto the scalp.
Just rub it in gently until there is no more itchiness.
If all else fails then you can always go to a barber shop and ask him/her to cut off your split ends immediately without going through the whole process of shampooing, conditioning, styling, etc.
How to Prevent Split Ends Naturally?
Use coconut oil as a daily moisturizer.
Do not brush your hair when it is dry. Wet your hair first before brushing. Alternatively, you can also use a wide toothed comb to prevent your hair from breaking and splitting.
Apply olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, argan oil, or castor oil to the ends of your hair to strengthen the roots and prevent them from splitting.
Ensure that you are getting enough protein in your diet.
Wear a hat or tie your hair up when you know that it is going to be windy or if you are going to be exerting yourself physically. The best kind of hat to wear is one that has a wide brim so that it will protect your ears as well. It would also be best to wear it at an angle to deflect any wind coming from the side.
Wear your hair in a manner that exposes as little of it as possible. For example, if you are a girl then you can pull your hair back into a ponytail and secure it tightly with an elastic hairband.
Don’t have a tight hairstyle. Loosen the hair ties or elastics every now and then to give your hair some relief.
