2) Glaceau Vitamin Water Has Too Much Sugar!
Glaceau vitamin water contains too much sugar. It contains: High fructose corn syrup (HFCS), which is made from refined corn and degrades into a sweet liquid when heated. It’s not just added to soda pop; it’s used in processed foods like cookies, cakes, chips and candy bars. It is highly addictive and has been linked with obesity, type 2 diabetes, cancer and tooth decay.
3) Glaceau Vitamin Water Contains Artificial Colors And Flavors!
Glaceau vitamin water contains artificial colors and flavors. These chemicals have been shown to cause cancer, birth defects, reproductive disorders and damage to the immune system. They are known carcinogens. There are no studies proving that they don’t affect the liver or kidneys, but there is evidence linking them to obesity, diabetes and other diseases.
They may even increase your risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease.
4) Glaceau Vitamin Water Has No Dietary Fiber!
Glaceau vitamin water has no dietary fiber. It is important to eat foods that contain soluble fiber because it helps to lower blood cholesterol and reduces your risk of heart disease. It also helps to control your weight, controls your appetite and keeps you fuller longer. Eating vegetables, fruits and whole grains are great way to get soluble fiber in your diet.
5) Glaceau Vitamin Water Is Very High In Sodium!
Glaceau vitamin water is high in sodium. The recommended maximum amount of sodium that you should consume in a day is 2,000 milligrams. There are more than 2,900 milligrams of sodium just in one bottle of glaceau vitamin water. According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), too much salt in your diet can lead to high blood pressure and heart disease.
The NIH warns that too much sodium can lead to kidney disease, osteoporosis and muscular degeneration.
You should avoid glaceau vitamin water because it’s bad for the health. Instead of drinking glaceau vitamin water you should drink fresh fruit and vegetable juices or pure filtered water.
