If you’ve been following my articles regularly, you’d know that I’m all about the science behind losing weight. And while there are many ways to lose weight, one of them is through exercise.
Exercise burns calories which in turn help you burn fat.
So how much does exercise burn?
That really depends on many factors, which we will discuss in a bit.
The first thing you need to understand is that exercise alone won’t make you lose weight. You also need to watch your diet.
If you don’t, then you’ll be wasting your time as you might actually be GAINING weight rather than losing it. So while exercise plays an important role in speeding up your weight loss, what you eat is equally important.
One of the biggest misconceptions people have is that in order to lose weight they need to do grueling exercises that will make them heave and pant. While this might be true to some extent, it’s not really the proper way of doing things.
You see, in order for you to lose weight from particular body parts, you generally need to do exercises that uses those particular body parts.
For example, if you want to lose weight from your legs, then you should do exercises that will get your legs moving. This could be anything from jogging to swimming to biking to climbing stairs.
In any case, as long as you’re doing exercises that will make your legs move, you’ll be toning your leg muscles and burning the fat off them.
