Cooking on a Himalayan Salt Block: Good or Bad?

There are many benefits associated with cooking on a Himalayan salt block. The most obvious benefit is the fact that it provides an environment where food can flourish. A good example would be when using a salt block to make your own salts (which is what I do). You don’t have to worry about having fresh water available, since the salt blocks provide their own source of fresh water. If you’re looking to get creative, you could even add herbs and spices to the food being cooked on the salt block.

Another benefit of cooking on a Himalayan salt block is that it’s very easy to keep track of how much food you’ve put into it. You just need to count out the amount of weight that you want to cook on each side.

You’ll be able to see exactly how much food you’ve used up before you start to go through it. Another advantage is that you won’t have to wash your hands after handling the salt block; all of the dirt will fall off and onto the floor.

The downside of cooking on a Himalayan salt block is that there isn’t always enough room for everything that needs to be cooked on it. If you need to cook something that’s particularly long, such as a large piece of meat or a whole fish, you might have some trouble fitting it on the block.

Additionally, you’ll need to keep an eye on your cooking. Whenever I cook on my salt block, I always make sure that I turn on my stove’s timer so that I don’t forget to turn the burner off.
