Parsley tea is a traditional herbal medicine used throughout the world for its many benefits. It contains several different herbs which are known to have various medicinal properties such as:
Antibacterial and anti-fungal properties.
It is one of the most popular herbal medicines used worldwide, especially in India where it was first introduced over 2000 years ago!
The best part about parsley tea is that it doesn’t contain any preservatives or artificial ingredients. It’s naturally occurring goodness makes it safe to drink every day without any side effects. Parsley tea is also very easy to make, requiring only five simple steps!
1) Pick your favorite parsley plant.
You can use fresh or dried varieties. If you’re using fresh, chop off the top inch of leaves and discard them. If you’re using dried, cut off the bottom third of leaves and discard them.
2) Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling the parsley plants.
3) Place the chopped parsley leaves into a large bowl along with some ice cubes.
Add enough cold water so that there isn’t too much room in the bowl but not so little that it will cause you to choke if you take a big gulp when stirring. Stir the water and parsley leaves around for about 30 seconds.
4) Strain the mixture through a fine strainer to get all the liquid out.
5) Enjoy your drink!
Your drink will last in the fridge for up to two days without going bad, so feel free to make as much as you need! If the flavor becomes a little bit weak, feel free to add more ice or make more parsley tea!
There is an endless amount of things you can do with your tea. Stir it into soups and sauces. Add a little cinnamon, nutmeg, and honey to make an amazing apple pie-flavored drink.
